Starting Over

A few weeks ago, I sprained my ankle mildly. But it was enough to keep me from working out for a while.

Well, today was my first day back. And I'm glad to say that I didn't hurt myself. I did the Fighter Fit workout on the Nike Training Club app. This is one of my favorite new ways to workout simply because it's always a little different and I can keep the TV on for background noise.

One of the things that causes me to give up a workout is the lack of variety. After a while, when all the workouts are learned, it gets repetitive. Like, I totally know what Tony Horton is going to say next. And for me, when I'm working out alone, it's not so exciting. I get bored and then I get lazy.

So to mix up my workouts, I've incorporated Nike Training Club. I need to get back to my Turbo Kick though, that always provides a nice kick in the tushy.
